Editorial Policy
CMP supports the key principles of transparency and best practice in scholarly publishing formulated by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)
CMP implements the two recommended complementary strategies of the Budapest Open Access Initiative : 1) CMP is a diamond open access journal and 2) its contents is mirrored in an open electronic archive .
CMP supports the Initiative for Open Citations (I4OC), San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) , and Initiative for Open Abstracts (I4OA). We deposit the reference lists, ORCID author identifiers, and abstracts of the published articles to Crossref as part of our participation in the Crossref’s Cited-by service.
CMP supports the Enabling FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) Data initiative. The authors of the manuscripts submitted to CMP are encouraged to share the data supporting their research at publication by placing the data availability statement and the citation of the data, deposited in one of the openly accessible repositories, in the articles.
