Information For Authors
Interested in submitting to this journal? We recommend that you review the About the Journal page for the journal's section policies, as well as the Author Guidelines. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process.
There are no publication fees in "Condensed Matter Physics".
Data availability
- The authors are encouraged to share the data supporting their research in accordance with FAIR principles at publication by placing the data availability statement and the citation of the data (a permanent link, DOI), deposited in one of the openly accessible repositories in their article.
Appeal procedure
- The authors, whose manuscripts were rejected by the decision of an Associate Editor after the peer-reviewing process, may appeal to the Editorial Board. A letter of appeal should be submitted, containing the arguments, why the decision to reject the manuscript should be repealed. A member of the Editorial Board will be designated, who will review the arguments of the authors, the manuscript and its revised version(s), as well as the reports of the referees and authors’ answers, assess the correctness of the Associate Editor’s decision to reject the manuscript, and submit a report to the Editorial Board. The decision that will be made by the Board on the basis of this report is final.
Misconduct
- Concerns about plagiarism in an article published in CMP, falsification/fabrication of data, significant overlapping of the results with those already published elsewhere, or another breach of science ethics and integrity, brought to our attention, will be assessed by the Editorial Board. The authors of the article are given an opportunity of a rebuttal. Decision is made by the Editorial Board after consideration of the arguments of both sides, reviewed by a designated member of the Board. If the concerns are found to be valid, it may lead to retraction of the article in question.
Retraction
- An article, containing major errors in the published results or deemed to significantly violate science ethics and integrity as outlined in the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines , can be retracted by the decision of the Editorial Board. A notification of retraction is issued, linked to the article in question. For the sake of transparency, the PDF file of the article remains online, but the note about its retraction will appear alongside it.
